Yes, some folks lack the insight to just appreciate something for what it is instead of what they try to make it out to be. While I never gotten any feedback on my submissions here on dA I have participated in a number of online communities and forums for other subjects (where I am a bit more competent) and have experienced similar challenges. I generally try to treat them just like "flamers", just out to see what kind of trouble they can stir up.

In any case, it would be a real shame to deprive this community of your work just because some people can't take it. If you should decide to back away please send me a link to where I can see more of your stuff. I really like it.
